As we have mentioned before, the goal of this site is to provide honest communication regarding Elaine's condition. Tuesday was not a very good day for Elaine and it seems as though her condition continues to deteriorate almost daily. Elaine spent all day in bed and while this was not the first time that has happened, today Elaine was unable to communicate effectively with visitors. Whether it is the increased medication or the advancing cancer (or both), Elaine spent the day in a deep sleep with little awareness of what was going on around her.
We understand the prognosis for Elaine but it has been shocking to see her condition deteriorate as quickly as it has. We hope that Elaine can bounce back from today with renewed strength but we also hope that if that is not possible that Hospice and the staff at Homewood can keep her as comfortable as possible.
Elaine has displayed an incredible amount of strength and courage as she has waged her battle, we ask for your continued prayers for her.

Hi Elaine, I want you to know we are thinking of you. Our prayers and our love goes out to you. You have been very strong and courageous and I hope that you can feel the energy we are sending your way. We talk about you everyday and how much we miss you at Techalloy. You hang in there and keep fighting and on those days that you can't well then you just take the rest that you need. The Ravens are having a great season so far and I know they are winning just for you!!

So sad to hear about your bad day yesterday, Elaine. I couldn't relay my feelings for you any better than what Sonia, Kimmie and Jane have written. You are, and always have been a beautiful person, inside and out! Emilie and I are praying that you will find relief for your pain and comfort in knowing all the loving thoughts and prayers that your friends and family surround you with. I do not understand WHY this has happened to you but I do believe ALL is in the Master's plan and that He loves you intimately and infinitely and so do I. Carol
