Difficult Days

The last couple of days have been difficult for Elaine. Monday was a very tough day, Elaine was in a great deal of pain and very fatigued, spending all day in bed. Conversation was limited and Elaine drifted in and out of sleep most of the day. It was sadly the worst day Elaine has had since this ordeal began. By days end, Elaine had been placed on low doses of Morphine to control her pain. Tuesday saw improvement in her condition, the medication kept her pain level under control, her energy level was improved and she was able to engage in conversation, although she did spend the day in bed again.

We hope that the medicine will allow Elaine to rest and regain strength as she continues this very difficult battle. Our prayers are with her always!

Elaine,
We just wanted to know that we're thinking about you all the time. We're sorry you're having so much pain and hope that the medication will help you. Looking forward to seeing you Wednesday evening.

Hey Hey Girl!

Geri and I really enjoyed meeting your niece Nikki yesterday (Tuesday); wow, she is sure a “chip off the ole family block” with all her energy and compassion. How exciting and wonderful for you to have such lovely young adults in your life.

You’ll likely remember that Nikki was laughing at the three of us (you, me and Geri) as we sang and pined to the Jersey Boys music. She wasn’t so sure we “were all there” as we sang somewhat nasally as Franki Valli and the Four Seasons did. Nikki probably just chalked us up to being “oldies but goodies”. She is quite excited about her wedding next September and it was a true joy to hear her talk about her plans and about Andrew.

As promised, Geri, Kitty and I will be singing for you at the Ocean City Sunfest indoor and outdoor concert performances this coming weekend. We sure wish you could come with us; please know though that you will be with us in spirit and prayer every minute.

Root real hard for the Ravens on Sunday – we have a one game win streak going!! I believe they are on TV at 4:15 PM Sunday.

Let’s Go Flac-co!!!

Lots of Love, Hugs and Prayers,
Your Devilish Angel, JoAnn

Hi Girl
I got the hang of this now. I had to go to Orlando to get Denise's (my daughter's) 3 dogs and cat to keep while she was deployed with FEMA to go to Texas. However, they sent them to Atlanta for 3 days training and now she's back home. They don't have any place to put them when they get there. She said they told them to keep their bags packed. I guess she will go out soon. You ought to see my house. It's been animal proffed. (Ha-Ha) I have scraps of carpet al around, dog cages in kitchen and food bowls and food. I have blue tape across the patio door because Sammy (Pom) can't see to well. It's funny. Sammy can't hold his water some times and Casey is on Thyroid medicine. I am having a time with the boobers. (Ha-Ha). I so hope your medication is making you comfortable.
May God be with you
Theresa
